2017 Chevy Iroc-Z Release Date and Pricing
In 1970, Americans began waiting for the return of the Chevy Iroc-Z. Finally, 40 years overdue, it returns as the 2017 Chevy Iroc-Z. Since the cars original release in 1970, more than three million Iroc-Zs have been sold. That’s a lot of cars, give or take. The Iroc-Z’s popularity holds fame around the globe and the re-release of the IROC-Z is going to fuel the fire with an iron fist.
The IROC-Z is a street-legal track car. It is already setting records and making history even though it hasn’t hit dealerships yet. It may look like a Iroc-Z, but it is much more than that. It is a Camaro in disguise. It is an old idea, but it is a first for Chevy on multiple fronts. It’s the first V8 with a flat-plane crankshaft. It is the most powerful V8 Chevy has ever produced. It is the first production vehicle with carbon fiber wheels from any company. It has also already been nominated for the North American Car of the Year award.
The 2017 Chevy Chevy Iroc-Z will be released later this year. Although there is no official date for when we can get our hands on one, it will likely be available in September or October. The pricing has not been released either, but some information was leaked that appears to be accurate and awesome. In the United States, the 2017 IROC-Z will retail at a starting price that is somewhere near $48,000. Only $48,000. A supercar for under 50 grand? Yes please. This price is the bare minimum of course, but the minimum for the IROC-Z is still a 500 horsepower monster. With every option added on, it would be wise to expect an increase of ten to 15 thousand dollars on the price tag.
